Community School Self-Assessment

A guided reflection for you and your leadership team.

Assess the four core components of your community school against the Stages of Community School Development Framework. Takes about 5–10 minutes. You’ll receive your responses and a tailored set of resources by email.

You’ll reflect on
  1. 1 Community school coordinator role: A full-time community school coordinator implements, integrates, aligns, and coordinates the community school strategy at the site level.
  2. 2 Community school leadership team  (often called an Advisory Council): A representative community school leadership team guides the development of a community school. The leadership team works to plan, implement, grow, and sustain their community school site.
  3. 3 Assets and needs assessment: A comprehensive assets and needs assessment supports community schools in making data-driven decisions by mapping existing resources and pinpointing gaps that need to be addressed.
  4. 4 Implementation plan: An implementation plan identifies community school priorities and ensures the community school’s work aligns with goals that are inclusive and equitable.
